Kotimainen termiikkiennuste –palvelin Regional Atmospheric Soaring Prediction

Purjelentotoimikunta (PT) on yhdessä Suomen urheiluilmailuopiston (SUIO) kanssa rakentanut uuden termiikkiennuste –palvelimen joka laskee ennusteita erityisesti Suomen alueelle.
Ennusteet perustuvat amerikkalaisten kehittämään ohjelmistoon josta löytyy lisätietoa osoitteesta
http://www.drjack.info/ . Kevään ajan ennusteen paikkansapitävyyttä seurattu tarkasti ja tällä hetkellä tulokset näyttävät varsin hyviltä. Ennusteita ajetaan 2-3 kertaa päivässä siten että kuluvan päivän ensimmäinen versio saadaan aikaiseksi kolmen aikaan yöllä ja kahdeksalta valmistuu tarkennettu ennuste uudemman lähtötiedon perusteella. Puolen päivän aikaan valmistuu seuraavan päivän ennuste (seuraavan päivän ennuste on vielä työn alla).

Suuri osa kuvien merkityksistä on jo suomennettu ja lisää suomennoksia ja selityksiä tulee kesän aikana.

Vittorazi motors ohjeistus Walbro WB32 kaasuttimen säätöön.

Vittorazi motors tekee suht- koht laadukkaita kevytmoottoreita paramoottoreihin (Esim Fly Evo 100). Seuraavassa ilmoitukseksessaan he ohjeistavat Walbro WB32 kaasuttimen H- suuttimen käytöstä ja sen säätämisestä:



CARBURATOR BLOCK

All the motors produced by the Vittorazi with carburetor Walbro Wb32 from the year 2009 will be sold with the block in the screw H (as shown in figure).

FROM THE USER MANUAL VITTORAZI

“Attention: if the carburation of the motor (the quantity of gasoline that arrive to the motor) is poor, therefore the opening of the screw H is lower in comparison to the indications of the chart, will probably occur breakups as seizures, overheatings, fusions of the piston, precocious wear out of the components”

“We have realized this carburetor/motor, in the way that most of the necessary variations of carburation, can be performed with the regulation Low. We invite to never have the value of the screw High under the indicated value, that we consider the least value of operation for the engine”

After years of tests, effected by our collaborators in the different zones of the world, we have reached the conclusion that the screw H doesn`t have need to be moved by the original position. Then the block guarantees safety to the person that uses the motor from possible unintentional moves or volunteers and irresponsible changing of the regulation. Then we advise to check the integrity of the block before every use of the motor. We invite you to contact your dealer / center of assistance or directly the Vittorazi only in the case of tampering or breakup of the block.

Uusi ennätyshakemus FAI:lle [FAI-CIMA tiedottaa]

Juuri tuli FAI:lta ilmoitus uudesta ennätyshakemuksesta, jossa nopeusennätys on parantunut hieman. Tuossahan ei ole laisinkaan mitään erikoista, mutta se tekee uutisesta mielenkiintoisen, että tuo ennätys oli tehty uudella Dudekin “reActionin tappajalla”, eli Dudek Nucleon:illa ja ennätyksen tekijä… kukas muukaan kuin Michel Carnet joka on kehitellyt Dudek Nucleon siipeen uudistetutn “TST- ohjauksen“. Tässä FAI:n ilmoitus ennätyshakemuksesta:

Tulos kun lennät Lontoossa lähialueella ilman lupaa.

Eli toiminta on selkeetä ja nopeeta. Koska pilottia ei saatu radioitse tavoitettua lennonjohdosta, niin poliisikopteri paikalle ja se lentää ylläsi niin kauan kun pääset alas ja tämän jälkeen tulee poliisikopterista pari poliisia jututtamaan parista asiasta. Asia on todella paha rike, koska pahimmassa tapauksessa joku 747 tai vastaava lentää päällesi ja lopputulos on katastrooffi, eli… ei näin, koska vaarassa on “sivullistenkin” henki. Eli luetaan niitä ilmailukarttoja oikeen ja muutenkin ilmailuradio kannattaa aina olla mukana, jos lähellä vilkasta lentoaluetta toimitaan. Onneksi kuitenkin lentäjä oli havaittu ja saatu näin kontrooliin poliisikopterin toimesta, ettei mitään katastrofaalista tapahtunut.
