First prototype of “upside down” wings added to a paratrike (Fresh Breeze XCitor) in order to extend its speed range. I expect them to have no significant aerodynamic impact at slow speeds (eg, take off and landing), but by increasing the wing load at higher speeds, they should increase the top speed (by the square root of the wingload increase ratio).
