MOVA SM-2009 Suomenmestari teki uuden Suomen ennätyksen.

Tuore MOVA SM- kisojen mestari Tuomas Kauhanen teki eilen, uuden Suomenennätyksen Moottorivarjoliitimen matkalennossa. Vanha Arto Halttusen 310km ennätys jäi taakse selkeästi, eli Tuomas pääsi 429,9km matkan lennettyä ja tähän hän käytti 6h 28min lentoaikaa ja 33L bensaa. Keskinopeus oli 69.1km/h ja maximi nopeus = 86.4km/h.

Kalustona Hänellä oli Clementen Simonini mini2+ paramoottori ja Dudek reAction varjoliidin.

Huhun mukaan Arto Halttunen vastasi huutoon ja lähti jahtaamaan menetettyä ennätystä heti tänään aamupäivällä ja ennätysyritys on parhaillaan käynnissä ja Rovanimen TMA- rajakin jo ohitettu. X- seuraa tilannetta…

New feminine record of paramotor

Friday 1 of May, pilot Karen Skinner on foot set two new world-wide records in the feminine category of paramotor, during the festival Flypa 09. The English settled down in Catalonia took off from the Port de la Cruz in Tenerife to raise to 4000 meters, beating not only the record of height but also the one of time in raising 3000 meters. In this video it tells the details us.

Ramón Morillas tavoitteena korkeusennätys: +8000

Espanjan Ramón Morillas yrittää ensi syksynä uutta korkeusennätystä, eli yli 8000m- korkeuteen moottoridulla varjoliitimellä. Välineinään hän käyttää P.AP.:in F200 paramoottoria ja Advance sigma 7 varjoliidintä. Ramon matkaa Himalian vuoristoon Pakistaniin dokumenttiprojektin merkeissä, eli tuosta lentoyrityksestä tehdään myös dokumentti. Ennätysyrityksessä käytetään aivan omanlaista kaasutinta, että se toimisi noissa korkeuksissa vielä hyvin ja kaikenlaisia lämpösuojia on matkassa mukana.
